RESCOP Resolutions 07-001 to 07-003
During the RESCOP (Realty Service Council of the Philippines) Meeting of May 22, 2007 at 12 noon, a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed between the Professional Regulation Commission represented by Chairperson Leonor Tripon-Rosero and the Department of Trade and Industry, represented by the Undersecretary Zenaida Cuison Maglaya, and witnessed by Domingo D. De Vera, RESCOP Vice-Chairman and Dir. Victorio Mario A. Dimagiba, of BTRCP, stating that :

WHEREAS, the DTI is considering to adopt and avail of the PRC’s technical expertise, technology and mechanics of administering examinations,
WHEREAS, PRC is ready, willing and able to provide technical support and assistance in the area of administration and conduct of its licensure examination;

On May 22, 2007, 1pm at the RESCOP Council Meeting, CWTRG Hall, the following resolution were signed :
Council Resolution 07-001
Resolution on the Council proposal to restore attendance in the Comprehensive Real Estate Seminar (CRES) as prerequisite for licensing application and the Council proposal to require membership in any RESCOP-affiliated association prior to the issuance or renewal of license.
Council Resolution 07-002
Resolution on the Council proposal to inform Housing Land Use Regulatory Board (HLURB) that the Real Estate Brokers Licensing and renewal, except the ones under PD 957, be returned to the jurisdiction of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) starting January 200. Thereafter, issuance and renewal of Real Estate Brokers’ licenses shall be every three (3) years as per DAO 11, Series of 2003.

Resolution on the Council proposal to assign the proposed CEP accreditation matrix to amend DAO 3 (IRR of CEP for Realty Service Practitioners), to the Education and Accreditation Committee of RESCOP.
